Purpose
Current Members
   The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Florida State Aerie, has a long and rich tradition of social and charity accomplishments. It is only fitting that the organization remembers, recognizes, and honors the outstanding achievements and contributions of its members.
   Therefore, the FRATERNAL ORDER OF EAGLES, FLORIDA STATE AERIE, HALL OF FAME CLUB is established to create a lasting tribute to those who have brought honor to themselves, the Florida State Aerie and our fraternity.
Eligibility 
   Any member in a local Aerie in the State of Florida, who has accumulated not less than fifteen (15) years of membership in the Fraternal Order of Eagles and is in good standing on the rolls of a local Florida Aerie, is eligible for nomination.
   In case of a deceased member, such member shall have been in good standing on the rolls of the local Aerie at the time of his demise with not less than fifteen (15) years of membership in the Fraternal Order of Eagles to be eligible for nomination.
   To be eligible, a prospective nominee shall, during the course of their membership in the Fraternal Order of Eagles, demonstrated outstanding character, leadership and service to the Florida State Aerie together with dedication to the principles of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Procedure for Selection
  1. Each local Florida Aerie may sponsor one (1) candidate for nomination to the Florida State Hall of Fame. Such sponsorship is not limited to the members in the sponsoring Aerie, but can be from any Aerie within the state of Florida.
  2. The nominee recommended must be approved by a motion on the membership floor at a regular Aerie membership meeting.
  3. The local Aerie Secretary shall furnish the Florida State Hall of Fame Recording Secretary a short one-page resume/letter of recommendation including a statement that the member being recommended meets all the eligibility requirements. It shall be attested too, with the proper Aerie seal and the signatures of the local Secretary and Worthy President.
  4. All submissions must be received by the Florida State Hall of Fame Recording Secretary no later than sixty (60) days prior to the annual Florida State convention. No submissions received after the cutoff date will be considered in the current year.
  5. All submissions shall become the property of the Florida State Aerie Hall of Fame Committee.
  6. At the annual Florida State Convention, the Hall of Fame Chairman shall announce the approved selections that are to be enshrined in the Florida State Hall of Fame.
  7. Recipients will be formally recognized at the Florida State Mid-Winter Conference with a plaque and name badge.
