Florida State Aeries Annual Youth Fair
After scouting around for areas this year that could accommodate our event, the Committee has decided that with the great results of the past couple of years, we will be returning to the Ormond by the Sea area. This years event date is May 14th, 2016 from noon until ?
This area has provide this event with a beautiful ocean side park area, cookout pavilions, and a huge area for amusements, games and interactive rides and activities. Last year, like the previous year, we have, with your gracious support provided a day of beach side fun, food, activities, prizes, music to well over 100+ children.
We are looking to do the same this year, but this is only possible with your Aerie and Auxiliary's support. As a Fraternal organization, I can not stress enough the importance of being involved with our children, local youth groups, schools, church groups, scouts and the like as these youths of today, are, Eagles of tomorrow.
So once again, we seek your generous support to keep this event going strong. What we have accomplished in the past years not only shows the community at large who we are, but showing our children what a wonder opportunity they will have in the future joining us as Eagles.

ATTENTION ALL AERIE MEMBERS
I am looking for men and women who are creative and enjoy taking pictures. Each year at the State convention the Aerie holds a scrapbook competition. It’s easy and fun to do with just a few basic rules to follow. Plus you could win a trophy to take home to your Aerie. All you need to do is take pictures of the fund raisers and activities that your Aerie holds from May 2015 Installation of Officers through Mothers Day May 2016.
Rules are listed below.
AERIE STATE SCRAPBOOK RULES
· Books used shall be traditional scrapbooks; with a size not exceed 18x20 inches.
· Photo albums are not acceptable.
· Content shall consist of information from May 2015 Installation of Aerie Officers thru Mother's Day 2016.
· Your scrapbook theme should include the aims and ideals of the Eagles and should include the themes of the National (Grand) and State Presidents, as well as your Aerie activities.
· Scrapbooks shall be turned in during registration at the June 2016 State Convention.
· Pictures should be labeled and dated for each event if information is available.

You can make your reservations for next year's convention at the Rosen Plaza now! Call either 800-627-8258 or 407-996-9700. We will be adding extra rooms to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but that doesn't mean you can wait to make your reservations in May and expect to get a room that night because the hotel has other groups there while our convention is going on. Make your reservations now and if you can't make it you can always cancel.
